Nutrition Facts of Almond Flour:

Almond flour, because it is made only from raw almonds, is very healthy for you. Almonds are low in carbohydrates and high in fiber, protein, manganese, magnesium, and vitamin E. Almonds are also high in omega-3 fatty acids. When you add almond flour to a recipe, it adds fat, which adds richness to the recipe and can extend the shelf life of the foods you bake.

How to make your Almond flour?

Take blanched almonds (you can find them in the grocery store)  and add them into a food processor and flash them into a food processor until you get your desired texture. Make sure that you stop the blender at the right time because if you blend it a little more it will turn into almond butter.

How can we use Almond Flour in various recipes?

Almond flour can be used in a variety of recipes. It is mostly used in French desserts such as macarons. It is also used as a substitution of all-purpose flour in regular cake and cookie recipes. Almond flour can also make a delicious, crunchy, or sour fruit crumb when mixed with flour, sugar, and butter.

Almond flour can also replace breadcrumbs in many fried fish and chicken recipes. Though it can burn easily if it is used appropriately it can give a crunchy texture.
