Healthy Chicken Ranch Wraps Recipe

Table of Contents

Wraps are one of the easiest and most satisfying grab-and-go snacks, and they’re almost always healthier than most other fast-food alternatives out there. The best part? You can put together one in minutes, and more often than not, as long as you have some wheat flour tortillas around, you already have all you need at home.

This is an easy recipe for a chicken wrap, and we’re livening it with a dollop of Ranch. Who doesn’t like Ranch, right? I know I do. The rest is super easy; let me tell you all about it.

Healthy Chicken Ranch Wraps 2 XS

What goes into a healthy chicken ranch wrap?

This one starts like all wraps with a wheat flour tortilla. We’re stuffing it with shredded chicken (which we’ll sauté with onion and garlic,) bell peppers, lots of mozzarella, shredded lettuce and Ranch. The tastiest things in life are often quite simple, don’t you agree?

So, the secret with this one is heating the tortilla before filling it; then, you tuck it like a burrito. Don’t try to fill the wrap and cook it later, or the inside of the tortilla will forever be too soggy. That’s what so many places get wrong, you know? You don’t build a wrap and attempt to heat it later with a sandwich press — that’s not right.

Substitutions and Variations

Although I do recommend sticking with chicken for this one, I encourage you to throw in a few extra veggies. The crunchier, the better. Carrot sticks, perhaps some zucchini slices or avocado. You name it. After all, we want a tasty lunch, but we also want it to be healthy, right?
